DESCRIPTION

Frog Beach is a color pencil reproduction printed on sturdy professional gloss card stock in high resolution. The original work was done using a circular burnishing lawyering technique with minor engraving for additional highlights. Approximately 18 hours of creation.

INTERPRETATION

Frog Beach was drawn by Shawn Malzahn while incarcerated during the summer of 2010. This piece was drawn from the imagination of a mind in need of a vacation to a relaxing place. That place was depicted here as an exotic island with a tiny friend that the artist is most fond of.
