DESCRIPTION

Pillars of Prosperity is a color pencil drawing on medium tooth vellum paper. The work was done using a circular burnishing lawyering technique with minor engraving for additional highlights. Approximately 11 hours of creation.

INTERPRETATION

Pillars of Prosperity was drawn by Shawn Malzahn while incarcerated during the spring of 2021. This piece was originally intended to be used as an illustration for a book the artist was penning, but was instead supplemented as concept art for the Green Rose Organization’s core value system.
