THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD

At the core of all sciences lies a specialized problem-solving approach called the scientific method. This intellectual method of separating opinions from facts has generally six steps depending on the model you adhere to, they are:

1.) Make an observation.
2.) Ask a question about what you observed.
3.) Form a hypothesis, or best guess as to "why".
4.) Make a prediction based on the hypothesis.
5.) Test that prediction with an experiment.
6.) Use the results to make new hypotheses or predictions.

This method can help us in life by forcing us to slow down and STOP jumping to conclusions and/or accepting the opinions of other people that are likely "half-truths" at best. This method will help to discern more of what is real in Life, and what is not.
