DESCRIPTION
Mountain Trees is a color pencil drawing on medium tooth vellum paper. The work was done using a circular burnishing lawyering technique with minor black ink for additional contrasts. Approximately 22 hours of creation.
INTERPRETATION
Mountain Trees was drawn by Shawn Malzahn while incarcerated in the summer of 2008. This piece was drawn by a National Geographically influenced mind that was craving vacation and retreat.
